●Made in California. Designed, patented and built by the same family since 1961.
●Refills never discontinued. An opener bought twenty years ago still takes the cartridge we sell today.
●Direct from the manufacturer. Not a marketplace reseller, so you get the real thing and our warranty.

Wine does not go off because the bottle is open. It goes off because of the air in it.

The pump draws that air back out through the stopper, so what is left in the bottle stays closer to how it tasted on the first night. It is the difference between finishing a good bottle over three evenings and pouring the last third down the sink.

  • Vacuum pump with two stoppers — a red and a white open at once
  • Pump until you feel the resistance; the stopper holds the seal
  • Reusable; nothing to replace

Most useful to the household that opens a bottle on a Tuesday without intending to finish it. Spare stoppers are available separately as the Giovanni Vacuum Wine Saver Stoppers.

A family business that still makes the thing it invented.
Est. 1961

A family business that still makes the thing it invented.

It started in a workshop in 1961. Three generations later the family still holds the patent, still runs the line in Novato, California, and still packs the cartridges that go in the box.

That is why the refills never disappear, why an opener bought years ago still takes a standard cartridge, and why the thing feels like it was made by someone who cared.
