We have usedd the old cork popper for 10 or 15 years. It has worked well. When ordering replacement cartrideges, I decided to try the new cork popper. It is a good improvement over the previous one. We are happy with it.

I gave one of your wine openers to my boyfriend as a Christmas present. The first time we used it at one of our favorite restaurants, the server was intrigued and it worked great. The second time we used it, the button would not press down and we could not open the wine. The cork wouldn’t come out of the bottle. And we could not get the opener to close into the locked position in order to use it again. I can provide pictures to further explain our problem.

This is my second one. This works great on red wines and well enough on chilled whites. Just a tap or two on the gas canister and a little patience is all it usually takes. Corks on chilled bottles can sometimes be a bit sticky, so you may need to jiggle the opener to get the cork moving.
The only reason there are not 5 stars is that the first one broke after about a year of regular use. It may well have been a one-off. I was so pleased with how this works, I am trying it again. Very confident this one will last far longer.
I have reordered canisters a couple times, easily and promptly acquired.
All in all one of the best wine opening solutions out there.

I’ll be contacting the company. Arrived with the cover broken off, and the needle misaligned in the middle. Didn’t think it would be a big deal until we tried it last night and since the needle is angled and bent, it goes in sideways into the cork so not straight down.

Love this thing. Super easy to use. In hindsight, I probably would've gone with a different brand only because of price. Others seem to have the same features plus some, they work just as well, and they are a fraction of the price. Maybe Corkpops is more durable and will last longer. we'll see. Nevertheless, a great product.
