The Legacy opener takes the cork out without a corkscrew — a needle through the cork, a breath of food-safe inert gas underneath, and it lifts out whole. No screw, no lever, and nothing pulling on a cork that might not survive it. patented in 1964 and still made by the same family in Novato, California. It has a four-blade foil cutter built into the body, so the foil comes off with the same tool.
The VinOair aerator handles the other half: it sits on the bottle and aerates as you pour, through a dual-chamber design, with a non-drip spout that also works as a pourer and stopper. No decanter to wash.
Between them, the bottle goes from sealed to poured properly without anyone leaving the table. It is the set to give someone who has just moved into a first proper kitchen, or who keeps meaning to buy both and never does.
Keep it working with refill cartridges — each one opens roughly 60 to 80 bottles.
